Bridgestone UK Wins European TBR Fleet Sales Award
Bridgestone UK’s commercial sales team has won a unique trip to Japan after it won the company’s European TBR Fleet Sales Award. According to a company press release, which congratulated the team on their achievements, the UK market leader has dominated the awards with three of the six winners coming from Bridgestone UK. 161 applications were received for the incentive that was designed to motivate the fleet staff and help them exchange best practice to share with the Bridgestone European sales team.
Bridgestone UK winners Simon Cairns, Steve Miller and Neil Collison are flying out to visit Bridgestone’s Head Office in Tokyo this month. As well as getting the chance to observe how the brand operates in Japan, with a trip to the manufacturing plant at Tochigi, the proving ground and a visit to a Japanese Fleet Operator, the trio will also have a chance to experience the local culture.
Neil Collison, area sales manager said: “I was overwhelmed, excited and extremely proud of such an achievement and am really looking forward to the trip.” Regional fleet executive, Stephen Miller added: “I am very pleased to be recognised and rewarded in such a special way. I am really looking forward to seeing Kyoto,” said Simon Cairns, area sales manager.
Greg Ward, BSUK commercial sales director said: “I am delighted that we have had an impressive three winners in this competition and also won best European market, our strategy and focus in the fleet market has provided us with excellent results.”
