Two New Private Brands Boost Stapleton’s Range
Stapleton’s Tyre Services, one of the largest distributors of passenger car tyres in the UK, reports offering one of the largest selections of private and exclusive brands out of any distributor, and furthermore says it has a product suitable for every retailer and in every price bracket. The company recently added two new exclusive brands – Matador, a mid-range brand produced by Continental, and Primewell, manufactured by GiTi. Stapleton’s is also backing both up with dealer support packages to reward valued loyalty.
A complete product range is available in the Primewell line-up, Stapleton’s notes, UHP to SUV tyres, covering 96 sizes across four unique patterns. The company relates that its confidence in the brand is rooted in the fact that Primewell manufacturer, GiTi, stands at the forefront of tyre technology and produces a high quality tyre with reduced road noise and low rolling resistance. As members of the Key Dealer Programme, Primewell retailers benefit from a wide range of merchandise including: point of sale material, branded clothing and preferential prices to help maximise sales of the brand.
Prestivo, one of Stapleton’s three own brands of tyres, is positioned as a quality mid-range tyre. Offering performance allowing the driver to enjoy the thrills of driving with a comfortable ride, the range is available in two tread patterns, Prestivo 3000 and Prestivo SPORT 8000. The Prestivo 3000 range offers 29 tyre sizes and the Sport 8000 range is available in 21. Both ranges are available exclusively to members of Stapleton’s Prestivo Partners Scheme, which ensures all retailers receive the backing, and support they need to maximise sales of Prestivo tyres. The scheme, Stapleton’s explains, offers exclusivity, attractive rebates, branded clothing, in-store support including posters, POS materials and other branded support items.
The Nexen Key Dealer Programme is also going from strength to strength, the Hertfordshire based distributor reports. Retailers signed up to the programme can benefit from preferential purchasing prices, in store support in the form of leaflets and posters, branded merchandise and lifetime guarantees on products. Each member also receives a dealer reference catalogue. As for Nexen tyres, the range is available in 27 different patterns covering 200 different sizes to meet the demands of the modern vehicle, from the super mini to the family car. The range of sizes and patterns on offer are also suitable for high performance vehicles and SUVs.
Sitting alongside Prestivo, Nexen and Primewell is Kleber. Over the last 100 years, this Michelin-owned brand has built its reputation upon reliability and safety. Known throughout Europe, Kleber is present in both the aftermarket and original equipment markets.
Stapleton’s trading director, Steve Parker, reports all brands have been very well received by the industry: “The numbers of retailers signing up to the partnership schemes are continuing to grow and the feedback is that their customers, in turn, are enjoying the benefits of the ranges. Customers are now asking for Prestivo, Nexen and Primewell by name.”
