Stamford Launching Falken Brand in Africa

Stamford Tyres is an established exhibitor at Tyrexpo Africa and has supported the show since being launched in 2004. In March the Singapore based company will once again be using the show to further endorse the group’s growing presence in the South African tyre and wheel market.

Since launching Stamford Tyres (Africa) Pty Limited in 2000, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Stamford Tyres Corporation, the group’s activities throughout the continent has steadily progressed. Currently the company operates three branch offices and warehouses, in Johannesburg, Durban, and Cape Town. At the same time Stamford Tyres (Africa) is also in the process of expanding its distribution network and will shortly be opening a further warehouse in what it says is a “strategic location” within the country.

At Tyrexpo Africa 2010, Stamford Tyres (Africa) will present an emphasis on its  full distribution service throughout South Africa, which covers the PCR, TBR, OTR, ORR, AG and Industrial sectors.  During the show a new range of Falken passenger car, high performance and truck tyres will also make their African debut.

The company has supplied Sumo Firenza and Sumo Tire TBR, LTR, OTR-radial tyres in South Africa since 2000.  Recently it added the Stamford Sport Wheels (SSW) high performance alloy wheel range. The latest SSW design will be launched during the show.
