Revolution Motorstore Voted CAT ‘Retailer of the Year’
Gateshead based tuner Revolution Motorstore has taken Car and Accessory Trader magazine’s ‘Retailer of the Year’ Award for 2010. CAT, a magazine for aftermarket professionals, holds the awards ceremony each year. Each award category is voted for solely by members of the general public, with an online voting system permitting patrons of the nominated businesses to register one vote for their preferred winner – as well as being able to leave a comment on the quality of service they have received.
On winning the award, Revolution’s owners, Glenn and Lisa Campbell were understandably delighted. “This is for the whole team back at HQ,” exclaimed Glenn. “We’ve achieved this award collectively and I’d like to thank both my team and everybody that voted for us to win this award. It means so much more that it’s decided for by the customers rather than a panel of judges. As far as we’re concerned, they have always been our most objective critics.”
Revolution was founded by the Campbells in 1996 and since then has grown to become one of the UK’s leading online and mail order retailers. So with the award safely tucked in the showrooms trophy cabinet, what’s next for the Revolution team? “This award means a lot,” Campbell continued. “But we will never rest on our laurels with regards to our level of service and expertise. We’re going to raise the bar even further and see if we can take in again in 2011!”
