Infleet Moves Into RAC House
Infleet recently moved its call centre to RAC House adjacent to the M6 Motorway in Walsall, West Midlands. The centre houses vehicle support technology and the company says the move will enhance the roadside tyre breakdown support that Infleet supplies to its fleet customers. Infleet Commercial Director Chris Comport said: “RAC have managed our call referral facility very successfully over the last five years at another location, but when they offered us a move to RAC House in Walsall we had no hesitation in accepting…Short but efficient call centre desk time is crucial in dispatching one of our 700 service providers to a vehicle in distress within a speedy process.”
Trevor Parry a Partnership Manager at the RAC added: “We are delighted to offer our service support at RAC House in Walsall which I believe will further consolidate the very close working partnership we have had for a number of years with Infleet and their fleet customers. All of our call centre operators are trained in the process of dealing with tyre job referrals and our philosophy is one of continuous improvement in everything we do.”
Parry continued: “Infleet challenge us to dispatch a service provider within 10 minutes of the first call for service. Further we only accept ETAs from service providers who can attend the job within 60 minutes. This means that on average all vehicles are mobile again in a little over 90 minutes. We are certainly hitting the Infleet service criteria.”
Infleet is an independent car, van, truck and also even industrial tyre service provider both in the UK and, with the help of their European service provider, in 28 different continental countries. The company says the fact it has retained independence as a tyre service offer means its main focus is on service and not brand sales.
