Deldo Expands Sales Teams
Since its foundation in 1973 Deldo Autobanden has grown consistently to become one of the major players in the European replacement market. After 37 years, the company states that a transparent policy, a healthy (family) spirit and excellent service are still the key factors behind its success – a success that saw almost seven million tyres being sold last year.
A company can only remain successful and become even more successful through competent employees and a solid organisation, and with this in mind the Antwerp, Belgium based company has been developing its sales department. To support its current growth Deldo has expanded the department, with five new people joining the ten existing national teams. Today a total of 35 people are employed within the department, dealing with customers across Europe in 12 languages. “Language is a very important aspect when it comes to international sales,” comments Deldo marketing manager Rutger Veerman. “Our customers have one fixed representative, who is responsible for the complete process from initial offer to after sales. This results in quick and efficient service.”
As of this year Deldo has implemented an extra team within its sales (E-Commerce) operation, specialised in processing internet customers and online ordering. Veerman adds that the team’s multi-language ability, experience and efficient processes will help to serve a wide variety of customer needs.
