Conti to Raise Industrial Tyre Prices in US, Canada
Continental Tire the Americas has announced price rises of up to 4.5 per cent on its market industrial tyre products. The new prices will take effect March 1 in the US and March 15 in Canada, and are being blamed upon rising raw materials, energy and transportation costs.
The increase includes the possibility of in-line adjustments, said Conti. Orders recorded by February 26, 2010 in the US and March 12, 2010 in Canada and shipped by April 30, 2010 will benefit from price protection, the company added.
