Alliance Names Sales VPs, CFO
Alliance Tire appointed three veteran tyre executives to its management team, reports Tire Review: Bob Arnold is vice president of aftermarket sales; Randy Gaetz is vice president of OE sales; and Todd Richardson is chief financial officer. “We’re building an outstanding team to serve our customers in the field,” said Manny Cicero, president of Alliance Tire USA.
“With Alliance, Galaxy, Primex and Aeolus all under one roof, we have the broad product line that makes us one of the major players in the off-highway market. But what really allows us to deliver value to the independent dealer is the people behind our tyres – experienced people who know our business and know our customers’ needs are helping make this transition smooth and productive at all levels,” Cicero continued.
Arnold started his career on the factory floor as a tyre builder and inspector for BFGoodrich while attending Kent State University. His career has spanned nearly every aspect of the tyre business, from manufacturing to warehouse operations to sales. He was named national sales manager for Galaxy Tire and Wheel in 1999. After the merger of Galaxy with Dynamic Tire Company, Arnold handled southern region sales out of the Houston regional office and ultimately became vice president of sales for the aftermarket business of GPX International.
After his service as a first lieutenant in the US Marine Corps, Gaetz joined Michelin as a territory rep in Boston, Massachusetts. He also held positions in truck and earthmover tyre markets across the US, including a two-year executive training stint in France and oversight of Michelin North America’s national accounts in the US, Canada and Mexico. Gaetz also served as vice president of sales and marketing for TCI, and joined GPX as vice president for U.S. aftermarket sales.
Trained as an accountant, Richardson signed on with Firestone’s MBA training program and assumed a variety of financial roles over his 25 years at Bridgestone, ultimately serving as Comptroller of the Bridgestone Commercial Tire Group.
The new members of the Alliance executive team will oversee members from both the Alliance and GPX sales forces to maintain a smooth flow of product and service to the field, the company said.
