Yokohama HPT: New ADVAN Neova AD08 Tyre Available on UK Market

The UK distributor for Yokohama tyres, Yokohama HPT, has announced that the latest high performance product from the Japanese manufacturer, the ADVAN Neova AD08, will be available in the UK from March. The Neova AD08 is the latest addition to the flagship ADVAN range, reportedly signifying the highest levels of performance, grip and safety Yokohama has to offer. The AD08 is designed to bridge the gap between the ADVAN Sport, designed specifically for high performance road cars, and the ADVAN A048, the company’s road-legal track day tyre.

The ADVAN Sport has been chosen by automotive manufacturers such as Porsche, Bentley and Audi as original equipment on such cars as the Carrera 4, the Continental and the S8. The ADVAN A048 on the other hand, is a tyre designed specifically for track day cars, while at the same time, being road legal to allow sports cars to be driven to and from the circuit. As such, Lotus, Ariel and Tesla have adopted it as original equipment on their ranges of sports cars.

The Neova AD08 is a development of the preceding AD07 model, which is fitted as original equipment on the Lotus Elise and widely acclaimed as providing the most rewarding drive without employing a semi-slick or slick racing tyre. The construction, rubber compound technology and the tread pattern have, the company says, all been developed alongside Yokohama’s experience at the highest levels of motorsport, notably as supplier of control tyres to the FIA World Touring Car Championship.

The ADVAN Neova AD08 is available in a range of sizes, from 15” to 19”. They are available from March through the Yokohama HPT dealer network.
