South African ‘Tyresaver’ Launch Planned for Tyrexpo Africa

Nitralife states with pride it was the first company in the world to actively promote the use of nitrogen inflation gas in car and truck tyres. It held the first field tests with the substance in early 1995 and the success of these led to the formation of Nitralife "Nitrogen in Tyres" in mid 1996.

Founder of the South African company, Rob Sowry, worked in the tyre industry for many years and was later instrumental in the establishment of the nitrogen tyre inflation industry in the US. In South Africa the company has installed more than 400 nitrogen tyre inflation generating plants for everything from passenger car tyres through to giant earthmover tyres.

During the Tyrexpo Africa exhibition Nitralife will locally launch the new Parker Hannifin produced hand-held mobile nitrogen generator, the ‘Tyresaver’, for which the company holds exclusive marketing and distribution rights in Southern Africa. The unit is capable of evacuating the air out of a car tyre and then filling it with Nitrogen.
