Sivik – One Of Russia's Largest Suppliers

For over a decade, the Sivik Engineering and Production Group has been manufacturing professional automotive quality repair equipment. Today the company is one of the largest suppliers in Russia of products such as wheel balancers, lifts and tyre service equipment such as tyre changers, with ISO-9001 compliant factories.

In the wheel balancing range, Sivik produces two entry-level machines, Alpha and Sputnik, with the intention of providing small tyre shops with reliable, high quality balancing equipment at a price that ensures a speedy return on capital invested. Incidentally, the compact size of these machines means that they can be used in mobile tyre servicing.

Features include automatic data entry for wheels with a rim diameter of up to 24″. As for all Sivik wheel balancers, mechanical parts are manufactured according to defence industry standards and incorporate bearings from world-leading manufacturer SKF. Quality control includes a 100 per cent inspection of precision components and the shaft assembly parameters.

Moving up the Sivik range, there are three more models of wheel balancers; Next, Apollo and Galaxy. All can handle rims up to 28″ in diameter and features include automatic data entry, automatic ALU and weight-placing mode and automatic definition of weight type.
When using tape weights, exact positioning is important and Sivik’s Direct 3D technology incorporated into the Galaxy model ensures that the weight is placed at the correct angle in the correct position. An audible beep tells the operator when the wheel is in the correct position to fix the weight. Galaxy also has a rim/tyre optimisation programme to compensate for any irregularities in the tyre and reduce the required correction weight.
