Cooper Creates New ERP Position
Cooper Tire’s new ERP, or Enterprise Planning Resource, system is intended to standardise, automate and integrate the company’s data and processes into one system and provide access to information in a real-time environment. To assist in the successful roll out of this system, Cooper has appointed Ron Ranallo to the newly created position of vice president, ERP implementation. In this new role, Ranallo will supervise numerous business process owners who are tasked with designing and configuring the enterprise resource planning business processes and enabling software.
Since joining Cooper in 2008, Ranallo has served as director of Internal Audit at the company’s corporate office in Findlay, Ohio. Before joining Cooper, he served as the vice president and corporate controller for Owens Corning in Toledo, Ohio, and also worked as vice president and general manager for Owens Corning Construction Services. In addition, Ranallo worked for Eaton Corporation, as audit director, benefits planning and administration director, European treasury manager and US treasury manager. He began his professional career as a treasury analyst for the Marathon Oil Company in Findlay, Ohio.
