Vacu-Lug's Congratulates “World Class Plant Manager”
Brian Barron, plant manager at Lincolnshire-based Vacu-Lug Traction Tyres Limited, recently graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University with a degree in World Class Manufacturing Management. Barron’s success comes as a result of a three-year day-release/self-study course which has been supported by Vacu-Lug as part of its commitment to ensure the company and its staff remain at the leading-edge of their industry.
“Vacu-Lug has a long history of success based upon manufacturing, technological and managerial leadership,” comments the company’s managing director Tim Hercock. “Brian has been with the business for 14 years now and his desire and enthusiasm to continue his personal development typifies the spirit and culture of our organisation, which is intent on seeking continuous improvement in every aspect of its operations and thereby assuring our competitiveness in the marketplace. I therefore wholeheartedly congratulate him on his achievement.”
“For my part, I believe it is vital to our on-going success that Vacu-Lug continues to be fully versed in the latest manufacturing techniques and ideas,” says Brian Barron. “This course has also allowed me to benchmark our performance, and I can confidently say that we are now assured Vacu-Lug is right up there with the best in any manufacturing field.”
