Federal UK Dealers Enjoy “Red Letter Day” Rewards
Grouptyre, the exclusive UK distributor of Federal brand tyres, has announced the prize winners of the first part of its 2009 Red Letter Day promotional campaign, in conjunction with the Taiwanese manufacturer. RIKFIT Tyres in Kings Norton, Birmingham, supplied by Grouptyre member Car Tyrestore was awarded first prize of a £500 Red Letter Day; Tyrecare of Kings Heath supplied by ETB and Top Tread of Rotherham supplied by NE Wholesale, claimed the runner-up prize of Red Letter Days to the value of £250 in the prize draw.
The prize winner was randomly selected from all entries received by completing the registration form and answering a question on a dedicated online portal. Every Federal tyre purchased during September and October counted as one entry into the draw; therefore the more tyres a retailers bought, the greater was their chance of winning.
The second promotion period, running in November and December, follows the same pattern and again winning dealers will be able to treat themselves to a Red Letter Day experience. The huge choice of Red Letter Day package comprises a wide range of activity, lifestyle and travel prizes from adrenaline pumping thrills including scuba diving with sharks, power boating, carriage driving, Medieval jousting and white water rafting to less energetic pursuits such as spa days, theatre trips, wine and whisky tasting master classes and luxury weekend breaks – all of which Federal and Grouptyre were confident the winners would enjoy.
The prize draws, a national initiative first for Federal in conjunction with Grouptyre, has proven to be very popular and has, according to the manufacturer’s spokesperson, generated huge interest among UK independent tyre retailers: “We are exceptionally pleased with the quality of the responses received from all our dealers and people who have participated,” said Federal Brand and Communication official, Diane Chang.
