Amerityre Announces Canadian OEM Sales

Amerityre Corporation announced on December 8 it will supply components to a “major OEM manufacturer of track systems” through its licensed Canadian distributor, Flat Free Tires Inc. The name of the track systems manufacturer or details of the deal’s worth have as yet not been disclosed.

The Amerityre product used in the track system is said to deliver improved reliability and maximum shock absorption for improved ride quality. Annual usage of the track system, according to the system manufacturer, will grow to 100,000 tyres over the next couple of years, and the company’s original sales forecast has doubled twice due to greater than expected market acceptance of the new system. The manufacturer also stated it will apply this new system to other recreational vehicle products during 2010, which may further increase their annual usage.

As announced during its 2009 Annual Shareholders’ Meeting, Amerityre intends to continue to increase its international sales of its polyurethane foam tyre products. “As part of our 2010 sales and marketing plan, we are determined to aggressively seek international sales opportunities and make every effort to increase our presence internationally”, said Amerityre president and CEO Mike Kapral. “The sales in Canada represent the first of many opportunities that we anticipate will result from our marketing efforts.”
