TRIB Names Three New Members
TRIB – that’s the Tire Retread & Repair Information Bureau for those of you playing at home – has announced the addition of three new international members. Commenting on their joining, TRIB managing director Harvey Brodsky, said “TRIB continues to add members as more and more companies in the new tyre and retread industries throughout the world realise that TRIB is the only international retread industry association representing new tyre manufacturers, retreaders, suppliers to the retread industry and tyre repair companies.”
United Arab Emirates based Standard Retreads LLC (United Arab Emirates) is one of the three. The company, which operates a truck tyre retreading facility in Dubai, stated “our mission is to be at the forefront of the Tyre retreading industry in the UAE by providing high quality products and service to our clients. We take pride and commitment in our work and enjoy what we do.”
South Africa’s Fezkho Group, a company involved in truck and OTR tyre retreading, is another of the new TRIB family members. “Fezkho Group is a company that is black owned and has been founded by individuals who have always been entrepreneurial in their ways,” stated a company representative. “It has come about as the adverse business circumstance as it is always the case for the emerging entrepreneurs, we have however learned from our mistakes and we are therefore ready to participate in the mainstream economy of our country and in Africa at large.”
The third new addition is Israel’s Kogol Unitrade Ltd., who TRIB comments is the official and only importer of Michelin tyres in Israel.
