In over 30 years in business, Sicam has earned great esteem among producer of tools and equipment for tyre changer and balancing machines, befitting its location in the Industrial area of Correggio – a place the company calls the “home of tyre changers”. In 1975, Sicam launched the first car Tyre Changer, FALCO F9/20A model, a forerunner of its main range of garage equipments. Thanks to innovative ideas and ambitious projects, Sicam says it has earned relevant market shares both in the domestic market and the international one. At present Sicam exports its equipments to more than 90 countries all over the world, while current production is over 22,000 machines per year, equal to 13 per cent of the market.
The SBM V80 is the new compact and economical wheel balancer for car and light industrial vehicle wheels. It comes equipped with a 17” LCD monitor and brand new software that the company describes as “simple and intuitive”. It also boasts a motor launch and low rotation speeds. Its ALUEASY weight sticking system comes with automatic measurement of diameter and distance, while a double automatic gauge measures rim width.
All Falco tilting pole Tyre Changers, can be equipped with the special Automatic Lever System accessory. ALS technology turns a Traditional Tyre changer into an automatic demounting system that allows the operator to work, with minimal effort and without using the bead lever on all wheels, RFT and UHP included. The mounting tool shape is compatible with the lever too: the operator can choose to work with the traditional manual lever or with the automatic system.
The latest 3D technology wheel aligner uses simple plastic targets (reference stickers) mounted on the wheels, while its measuring system is positioned in the central pit. The system is equipped with rolling run-out function (it can be used by driving the car into position), the programme maintains the easy function of the traditional systems. The SA 830 D3 standard equipment allows cars and light truck measurements with wheel base between 180 and 340cm.
