Goodyear Europe Appoints New Truck Tyre Technology Director

Henk van Tuyl has been appointed director of Goodyear Dunlop Tires’ Tire Technology Commercial Tires – Europe Middle East and Africa division. Van Tuyl, who is originally from the Netherlands, has worked for the company for more than 21 years and took up his new post on October 1.

“My goal is to keep on growing the truck tyre business for Goodyear Dunlop by coming out with new innovative products that have an important impact on the market,” van Tuyl commented. “We will do this by using the latest developments in materials, constructions, tyre shape and tread design.”

Van Tuyl is based at the Goodyear Innovation Center in Luxembourg. He succeeds Jürgen Spielmann, who is now responsible for what Goodyear Dunlop describes as an “important project” within the company.
