US’s Lucy’s Tire Expanding Product Mix to Performance Tyres, Wheels as Falcon Tire

Based in Florida, Lucy's Tire Inc began life in 1985, specialising in the sale of industrial and OTR tyres to Central and South America and the Caribbean, but has now expanded its range to include truck, agricultural and high performance tyres and wheels, the last of which it distributes through its Falcon Tire tyre centres throughout its home state.

Founded by Jose and Lucy Rios, the company soon became an authorised distributor for a number of major tyre brands, such as Firestone, Goodyear, Continental, General and Kelly-Springfield. In the 1990’s Lucy’s Tire extended its business portfolio to include truck tyres and is so doing became the primary distributor for JK and Vikrant in Latin America and the Caribbean. More recently, the company added performance tyres and wheels to its product mix and has created several tyre centres under the Falcon Tire name. These centres, states Lucy’s Tire, are state-of-the-art facilities, equipped with superior equipment and technological services.  New retail locations are next on the company’s to-do list, increasing the company’s visibility in the tyre marketplace, alongside its established wholesale division, serving the USA and Canada.

The company’s headquarters consist of a 160,000 sq ft combined warehouse and offices, housing one of the largest tyre and wheel inventories in the state.
