Eibach Releases 370Z Suspension Upgrade
The handling qualities of the latest Nissan 370Z have received a tweak from suspension specialist Eibach. The company’s new Pro-Kit spring upgrade lowers the car by up to 40mm, giving it what Eibach calls a more “aggressive” stance and allowing the factory alloys to better fill the wheel arches. However the kit is not all show and no go, notes Eibach; the 370Z’s new, lower centre of gravity endows it with sharper steering responses and far less body roll.
Eibach’s engineers have designed a unique ‘progressive’ wind into the new springs that allows the chassis to ride on a softer, more compliant section during cruising and everyday driving, but to stiffen progressively as speeds increase during hard cornering. Each kit comes with an unlimited mileage five year warranty and costs £173.04 + VAT.
Eibach also comments that drivers who are interested in their vehicle’s handling yet wish to maintain an OEM look can also opt for the Pro-Spacer range of fully TÜV approved hub-centring wheels spacers. Machined from solid billet and featuring reinforced inserts, the Pro-Spacer range allows a choice of safe and vibration-free track increases. Not only does their aluminium construction save weight over an equivalent steel spacer, comments Eibach, their special coating also makes them extremely resistant to corrosion. Prices start at £33.04 + VAT for a pair of the 5mm versions rising to £92.17 + VAT for the 25 mm versions.
