Bond International and International Tyres Helping Sumo Firenza UK Growth
The Sumo Firenza brand of car, high performance and truck tyres reports that it continues to gain strength in Europe and that the UK continues to be a very important market for the company. Manufactured in the Far East incorporating Japanese technology, distribution of the brand is the exclusive preserve of North Yorkshire’s Bond International (passenger car high performance range) and West Midlands-based International Tyres (truck sector), both of whom are said to be helping the Sumo Firenza brand’s growth in the UK.
The Sumo Firenza PCR and high performance range is centred around the ST-08 and ST-07 patterns. The ST-08 is currently available in twenty-eight sizes up to 18 inches. The ST-07 offers similar features to the ST-08 and a growing range will eventually be increased to thirty two sizes in 55 to 80 series –thirteen through to eighteen inches.
The Sumo Firenza truck range provides many different pattern options for fleet applications in both steering and trailer usage. For highway and trailer the SSR05A pattern is available in fourteen sizes with two additional sizes about to be released. The SSD08, SSM07 and SST07 patterns are all suitable for both driving positions and all-positional use with the SSD08 presenting seven size options and the SSM07 eight sizes. In the super single sector, the Sumo Firenza SSR055A pattern is available in three sizes and for off-road applications the SSM10 also offers three sizes.
Sumo Firenza says that it will continue to work closely with both Bond International and International Tyres to consolidate and increase its UK market position in the future.
