Barry Shaddick Tyres Marks 20 Years in the Business

Barry Shaddick Tyres is celebrating two decades of providing a tyre supply, fitting and repair service to commercial vehicle operators across the South of England and Wales. Since opening the doors on its Bristol premises in 1989 the company has developed into a network of eight depots, from which 48 service vans provide a highly responsive service, including 24/7 roadside assistance.

“We have a loyal customer base and many truck, bus and plant fleet operators have been using our services since we opened our doors 20 years ago,” commented company founder Barry Shaddick. “I believe the secret to our success has been our efficient, professional and friendly service.  We have also kept up with consumer demand and helped move tyre retailing into the 21st century.”

The business offers a portfolio of services that ranges from replacement car tyres through to sophisticated commercial fleet tyre management solutions. Barry Shaddick Tyres has been also working with Continental Tyres for many years and has been a ContiNetwork partner since the network started in 2001.

In celebration of the company’s 20th birthday, Barry Shaddick Tyres is inviting local fleet operators to call for a free audit of their vehicle tyres.  “There’ll be no pressure to buy,” says Shaddick. “Our fitters will just carry out the checks, at weekends if necessary when vehicles are in the yard, and we can then offer advice to make sure that our customers’ vehicles are as safe as possible on the road.”
