Wolfrace Unleashes Pro-Lite Alloy for Road, Track Use
Wolfrace, a leading UK brand of alloy wheels, has announced its new range of Pro-Lite wheels suitable for road and track use. With a wide and successful range of what it terms the ‘mainstream’ car enthusiast and modified car market with Wolfrace alloy wheels, exhausts and performance air filters, the Wolfrace Eurosport range now features the company’s first lightweight wheel suitable for road and track use.
The ‘Pro-Lite’ wheel is similar in design to the hugely successful ‘Pro-Sprint’ wheel. According to the company, the multi-spoke appearance remains but the manufacturing process used means, for example, that the 7.5×18” version weighs just 9.2kg compared to 11kg for a standard 7.5×18” alloy wheel.
The Pro-Lite is available in a range of colours consisting of matt black with orange anodised rim (15”, 17”, 18”); gloss black with blue anodised rim (15”, 17”); white with red anodised rim (15”, 16”, 17”, 18”); and gun metal with red anodised rim (15”, 16”, 17”, 18”). A gloss black with red anodised rim version is planned for later in 2009.
The Pro-Lite wheel is used and approved by Advent Motorsport and is currently in use on several competitive race cars in various race formulae.
