Merityre Uses Uniflate Nitrogen System to Stay Ahead

After five years of partnership, Nitrogen inflation specialists at Tyre Bay Direct are reporting that using their Uniflate system has helped Merityre Specialists Ltd, the largest independent tyre specialist in the Home Counties, stay ahead of the game. Established in 1963, Merityre now has nineteen service centres across the region. Staying ahead of the market is clearly a big consideration for the company, with their stated aim to exceed customer expectations and the presence of a well-established customer care programme to back this up.

Merityre was one of the first retail chains in the UK to use Tyre Bay’s Uniflate nitrogen inflation system. Having seen the system prove popular in Europe, Merityre was reporteredly eager to offer the benefits to customers in this country.

General manager Dene Arnold explains further: “We started with the Uniflate system at one of our sites around five years ago as we felt it was a great product to offer UK motorists. We were so impressed that we had them installed at all of our locations.”

 Tyre Bay Direct has been providing nitrogen inflation systems for 17 years, for both the high performance demands of Formula 1 and the consumer motoring market. This means they are ideally positioned to offer experienced and skilled advice to their customers.
