Marangoni Targets TV to Showcase Brand
Marangoni has teamed up with premier drag venue Santa Pod Raceway and experienced TV production house Pulse 8 Media to create two unique ‘magazine’ style car shows that will be airing throughout the latter half of the year on both Eurosport and Motors TV channels on the digital platform.
Investing significantly in the move, Marangoni and Santa Pod Raceway acquired no less 36 hours of broadcast time for two shows that showcased their ‘Marangoni Fast Show’ and ‘Marangoni Ultimate Street Car’ sponsored events. The programmes show every aspect of the events from the ubiquitous racing, to the nightlife and lifestyle elements that proved so popular with the capacity crowds. Naturally, Marangoni branding, demo cars and products are liberally sprinkled throughout.
Commenting on the launch of the programmes, starting in September, Greg Graham, Marangoni UK brand manager (car tyre division) said: “We are delighted with the look and the feel of these shows and I think they really portray how it feels to be at one of our events. Pulse 8 were chosen as production house for this project for their savvy knowledge of navigating through the stringent OFCOM regulations with regard to brand placement and ‘undue prominence’ legislation. It was really important to us that viewers know who’s behind the action, without overplaying the brand for the entire hour. I think that the team have got the balance spot on.”
The shows will play in one hour slots on Motors almost every day throughout the rest of September, with a carefully timed second wave of punchier half-hour shows hitting Eurosport towards October. All shows contain full Marangoni titling in break bumpers as well as in the all-important EPG (Electronic Programme Guide) meaning that the brand should be hard to miss on screens throughout the Autumn.
