Euro Car Parts to Supply Klarius’ Timax Exhausts to UK

Euro Car Parts, an independent supplier of car parts, accessories, tools and equipment in the UK, has recently secured a distribution agreement with Klarius UK to supply the Timax range of exhaust systems, and exhaust mountings via its 60 UK branches. Klarius is one of Europe’s major manufacturers of ‘type approved’ aftermarket exhaust systems and its current catalogue lists over 5,500 part numbers. The company’s products are compatible with 97 per cent of the UK car parc.

Klarius states that the importance of fitting ‘type approved’ exhaust system was demonstrated by recent tests carried out by the company. They showed a 3 per cent saving in fuel consumption on the urban cycle compared to a non-type approved product. For a driver covering 10,000 miles a year, this equates to a £50 per year saving. The aluminium-steel construction of its products, says Klarius, ensures longer corrosion resistance.

To make sure that the range keeps pace with the new models produced by the vehicle manufacturers, Klarius states that it has also invested heavily in research and development. The company is currently adding to their range at a rate of five new parts per day. It sells 2.3 million exhausts per year worldwide, each manufactured in its ISO 9001 approved production facilities and carrying a two-year warranty.

Euro Car Parts has invested heavily in Timax stock, with over 6,000 pieces ready for immediate delivery. The company has back up its stock purchase with a comprehensive training programme to help staff at its branches explain the value of the range.
