Ceat Launches “Ceat Pro” Knowledge Series
Ceat Ltd. in partnership with Total Lubricants, has organised an “interactive knowledge platform” called Ceat Pro in Nagpur, India. The idea is to give customers access to best practice ideas to help them their businesses and reduce operation costs.
According to the company, Ceat Pro is intended to be a common platform for sharing information and resources. Panellists at the event spoke on fuel economy, trends in the India lubricant market, the use of telematics to increase fleet efficiency, and crucially tyre radialization and the future of tyres in India.
Subrata Basu, Ceat’s head business development and TBR was quoted as saying: “The Indian transportation industry is booming but however lacks a common platform to engage customers and help them build best practices. At Ceat we believe in partnering with our customers and the automobile industry to gain value and optimum growth, thus “Ceat Pro” was launched.”
According to local news sources, the Indian truck transportation market is worth approximately 380,000,000,000 rupees (£4.77 billion; 5.362 billion euros; US$7.875 billion).
