Bridgestone UK Extends NR Evans Fleet Supply Agreement

Bridgestone UK has announced that it has renewed its supply deal with NR Evans Distribution, one of the UK’s largest temperature-controlled commercial vehicle fleets. The manufacturer will provide tyres for the company’s 300-plus vehicles and trailers, helping it deliver more than £500 million-worth of chilled products each year.

Neil Evans, founder and managing director of the company said that he was “very pleased” to have renewed the deal: “Bridgestone UK…have  demonstrated their commitment to proactive tyre service through the Truck Point Network which, together with the mileage performance of Bridgestone tyres, will continue to help us to reduce our costs year on year”.

Greg Ward, commercial sales director of Bridgestone UK added, “We are very proud of our association with NR Evans, and we are delighted to have extended our tyre supply partnership. Bridgestone believes in offering a long term partnership with our fleet customers rather than just a supply agreement, and more fleets are seeing that this is the way to go for the future”.
