Michelin Offers Fuel Vouchers with Tyre Purchases
With a strong focus in its corporate communications on providing more fuel efficient tyres with reduced rolling resistance, Michelin clearly sees an opportunity for its premium products in the current climate by emphasising its tyres’ abilities in this area.
The latest way in which the company is synergising this technical feature with its marketing strategy is through the provision of fuel vouchers when consumers buy Michelin tyres through a number of participating dealers this autumn. The company is offering £40 – or €40 in the Republic of Ireland – in fuel vouchers to customers buying a set of four of its car, van or 4×4 tyres between 1 September and 30 November (throughout September in RoI).
Redeemable in any Sainsbury’s store, or at Maxol service stations in the Republic of Ireland, the vouchers can be used to purchase fuel or groceries. Information on which dealers will be giving away these vouchers can be accessed at the company’s UK website.
Michelin’s focus on the environmental and economical characteristics of its tyres extends to the low rolling resistance of the Energy Saver or Primacy HP car tyres and the damage resistance and durability of the Agilis van tyre, suggesting that its products are some of the longest lasting and greenest tyres on the market.
