Bendix, SmarTire Deal Done

Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems has completed its acquisition of parts of Canadian TPMS-maker SmarTire Systems. Bendix is taking on SmarTire’s commercial truck TPMS business.

SmarTire Systems shareholders formally ratified the deal on August 11. Bendix and SmarTire initially announced the acquisition in December 2008. (Tire Review/Akron)
