Vee Rubber Introduces Three New Tyres
“At Autopromotec we are introducing three new tyres, the Taiga H/T; Winter Season II and Winter Season III,” said Vee Rubber’s CEO and managing director, Mr Vitorn Sukanjanapong. “The Taiga is a vast area of pine forests just to the south of the tundra in the Arctic where conditions range from near desert in summer to more than 30 degrees below centigrade in winter. In designing a brand new H/T light truck tyre we wanted to create a tyre that would capture the essence of the Taiga. It is our strong belief that the Taiga H/T does just that.
“Giving all season driving confidence, comfort and style this tyre features: ziz-zag circumferential grooves providing wet and snow traction, large continuous shoulder blocks giving extra grip with a low noise factor, multiple horizontal edges which cut through the heaviest rain and snow enabling the tyre to provide traction by being constantly in contact with the surface of the road. It is also very effective in icy conditions. Constant contact tread design affording dry traction and long mileage life across the tread face, the tyre always has approximately the same amount of rubber in contact with the road, creating better traction, less vibration and consequently, longer life. The Taiga H/T also has a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty.
“The Winter Season II will build on the success of the Winter Season I which has been a huge success for us in Europe and North America. The addition of a new central circumferential ribbed groove will enhance the ability of the Winter Season II to improve the efficiency of water and snow displacement from the tread surface. Vee Rubber will be offering this tyre initially in three sizes for the 2009-2010 winter season.
“In response to an overwhelming number of customer requests, we developed a studdable snow tyre, the Winter Season III. This new tyre features the same tread compound and design as the Winter Season II, but has the additional benefit of stud holes. The first sizes in this pattern have been targeted towards the passenger and light truck market. With 15 of today’s most popular sizes currently available, we will introduce a further 15 sizes well in advance of the 2010 to 2011 season.”
“In conclusion,” said Vitorn Sukanjanapong, “Vee Rubber is extremely excited about its future, especially in Europe. Our goal is to continue to increase our business here by supporting select distribution partners who can help us to build on the name and reputation of our company. As Vee Rubber develops, the company will broaden its product portfolio along with its tyre marketing strategy.”
Vee Rubber produces more than seven million tyres per year, including passenger and truck radials, motorcycle, ATV and bicycle tyres, with a workforce of 400 employees working at five manufacturing facilities. “With worldwide distribution logistics the company supplies tyres to every continent and by adopting a policy of vertical integration we can quickly respond to market changes, building tyres to suit variances in customer demand more quickly than many market leaders,” Vitorn Sukanjanapong said.
“Using the latest technology Vee Rubber has created a full line of radial passenger and light truck tyres, including touring, high performance and winter tyres which, we have been especially successful selling in Europe and the USA for several years,” Vitorn Sukanjanapong told T&A in conclusion.
