TyreSafe Appoints Red Marlin Communications
TyreSafe has appointed Red Marlin Communications to handle its national PR. The appointment takes effect immediately and will see the company “working to raise awareness of tyre-related safety issues across a wide range of consumer, trade and business audiences.” As well as developing a stream of regular news and educational stories, the agency is aiming to help TyreSafe engage with relevant stakeholder groups to widen the distribution of its tyre safety messages.
“Red Marlin showed a clear understanding of our needs and the issues affecting the industry,” comments Stuart Jackson, chairman, TyreSafe. “Their plans and ideas gave us great confidence that they can contribute enormously to the organisation, helping us to raise awareness about tyre safety issues and reduce the number of accidents and fatalities which sadly occur as a result of poor tyre care.”
The appointment is Red Marlin’s first major client win, having only been established since the start of June. The first major project to be handled by the new agency will be this year’s Tyre Safety Month which takes place in October.
