Polish Online Wholesaler Expands European Web Presence

Polish online tyre wholesaler Oponeo.pl is preparing to launch its new Italian website in the next two to three weeks. This latest site will join the company’s German, Spanish and French pages, which entered operation this year.

“In countries in which we launched our e-stores, sales are already taking place. We are continuously working on improving the websites and increasing their functionality,” Ernest Pujszo, responsible for developing Oponeo.pl’s foreign sales, told the Warsaw Business Journal.

Company spokeswoman Monika Siarkowska added that initial customer opinions have been positive, but it is too early to provide a full picture. Previously the firm announced that the start of foreign sales should boost revenues by about 30 per cent. In 2008 revenues stood at 94.2 million zlotys (£18.6 million).
