New Kryon Forklift Range to Make its Mark by Not Leaving One
‘Kryon’ is the name of a new tyre brand manufactured by Amerityre Corporation, and the company entered into a partnership with US based OTR tyre wholesaler K-2 Industrial Tire for global distribution of the range. On July 28 Amerityre announced that the first shipment of these polyeurethane forklift tyres has now been delivered to K-2.
“We are pleased to be working with K-2, and are proud to bring this new line of polyurethane forklift tyres to the market,” announced Amerityre president and CEO Michael Kapral. “We believe these tyres offer the end users an answer to their supply problems as well as the benefits of being non-marking and long lasting. We anticipate that K-2’s strong distribution network and marketing strategy will result in significant sales.”
The Kryon line-up includes a complete line of press-on tyres for forklift applications and will feature the proprietary polyurethane formulations developed by the Amerityre. The company points out that the Kryon range, unlike some competitor’s products, are “full size”, and the polyurethane’s non-marking qualities offer a price advantage over comparable rubber tyres. Furthermore, Amerityre believes that the Kryon’s non-marking properties may permit tyre dealers to reduce their inventories by as much as half.
“I am excited about this opportunity to introduce and distribute Kryon forklift tyres to the marketplace,” stated K-2 president JR Kines. “In our tests, these tyres have proven to last longer than rubber forklift tyres, are non-marking, and are manufactured utilising environmentally friendly chemicals with minimum energy consumption. This technology makes the tyres unique in the industry. With Amerityre ramping up production of the different forklift tyre sizes, we expect to meet the considerable demand for these tyres nationally and internationally. High quality American made tyres like these can provide assured and rapid order delivery.”
