Pro-Align: Hunter HawkEye ‘Special’ is a Real Bargain
With the recession biting and more of the aftermarket looking to wheel alignment servicing to generate revenue and increase profit margins, Pro-Align is its new Hunter HawkEye ‘Special’ alignment system at an economical price. The idea is to increase access to premium quality products by offering an entry-level model at a competitive price.
The HawkEye Special is very similar to the Hunter HawkEye 100 model, with the only real difference being it uses a two camera system instead of the four camera system of its sibling. The camera lift system offers versatility enabling the HawkEye Special to operate at variable adjustment height. With the console mounted on the main column, the system remains compact, offering great space savings in the workshop whilst not compromising on quality and accuracy of alignment readings as well as offering the valuable ‘before’ and ‘after’ colour customer printouts. According to the Hunter HawkEye imaging provides low cost of ownership through the use of its polycarbonate HEX targets and the cameras being mounted out of harms way.
According to the company, prices start from £8495 +VAT, which equates to £7.50 per day, based on a five-year lease. Then, if you look at HawkEye Special’s revenue potential, for example – measuring 8 cars per day at £40 per car (a typical tyre shop charge out rate), it would generate £320 in extra revenue for your business.
“We are delighted to give the industry what they want,” said Pro-Align’s Paul Beaurain: “The HawkEye ‘Special’ is the same high quality Hunter Pedigree product offering businesses a lifeline opportunity but at a truly bargain price…It may be low cost imaging aligner, but anyone investing in a Hunter HawkEye ‘Special’ will still get the same superior Pro-Align service and support as standard.”
With this in mind Beaurain is hopeful that the advent of the new entry-level range will have wide ranging effects on the modernisation of the market: “The cost difference between ‘conventional sensor wheel aligner’ and ‘imaging wheel aligners’ now being negligible…this could be the catalyst for the modernisation of the wheel alignment service in the UK. It was Bill Gates – Microsoft who believed there should be a computer on every office desk and in every home, so who knows, there could be an imaging wheel aligner in every garage and workshop in years to come!”
