Dow Europe May Divest Synthetic Rubber Wing

According to reports, Dow Chemical Company has said that its Dow Europe GmbH (Dow) subsidiary is “exploring divestiture options for its synthetic rubber business.” No further details or timeframe have been released at this stage, however, the move is being seen as part of the company’s ongoing work to streamline its portfolio of businesses. Dow’s Synthetic Rubber business produces and distributes synthetic rubbers.
