Ranger Products Counter HSE Inferiority Claim
Following the inclusion of the company name in a document produced by the HSE, Ranger Products has announced that it is offering a free verification service to anybody that may think that their BendPak lift is not an original one.
The inclusion of the Ranger Products name alongside inferior lifts imported from the Far East on a recent arm locking special notice has prompted the company to take the measure in order to ensure peace of mind for its customers and to prevent its products being confused with cheaper imitations.
Tony Strudwick the general manager at Ranger Products says that most of the inferior lifts mentioned, though similar in looks to the BendPak lifts, have poorly manufactured arm locking gears which are not the same as the high quality BendPak components. He also made it clear that none of the photos shown on the HSE notice depict any two post lifts that Ranger Products have sold.
In making the statement, the company took the opportunity to mention that all makes of two post lifts should be completely checked twice a year by a trained and competent technician. Park of this check ensures that the arm locking systems are correctly adjusted. It is also suggested that all lifts are checked weekly to ensure the functionality of the safety systems.
