MAK Presents New Wheel, Mistral

MAK has announced that it has released its first oriented design wheel, the Mistral 5. The shape and the inclination of the spokes show off the wheel’s oriented design. It has a square, straight structure with the spokes perpendicular to the external rim. The difference is then on the surface of the spoke, where there is a diamond insert. The basis of the spoke, anthracite colour, is wider, but it looks thinner thanks to the superficial diamond colour and slight design that lighten the spoke, says the manufacturer.

The Mistral’s design is made lighter thanks to the connection of the spokes to the external rim: the joint is thin and extends to the edge of the rim, giving the spokes a slenderer visual aspect. Its sporty look follows the current car-fashion trend and that is why it can meet the young target taste together with the car-personalisation necessities of those who want an original and nice look for their car.

MAK Mistral is available from March 2009 in the exclusive colour by MAK called Gun Metallic Mirror: the anthracite basis contrasts with the diamond ultra-brilliant surface of the oriented insert of the spokes.
