Alliance Expands Product Range with New Flotation Tyres

Agricultural tyre specialist Alliance has complemented its range of radial flotation tyres with a number of new sizes. The manufacturer has a long tradition in the development and manufacture of flotation tyres for agricultural use; in 1998 the Israeli-Indian company became the world’s first manufacturer to produce this type of radial. Now the manufacturer is launching further new developments that broaden the range of suitable applications to include use on slurrey tankers and dumpers.

Several new sizes have been developed for the “390 Agri Transport” series, a range specifically designed for meet growing demand for tyres to be used both on the road and in the field. The 650/55 R26.5 and 710/50 R30.5 dimensions are principally intended for use on slurrey tankers. These tyres, in comparison with tyres produced by competing manufacturers, offer a particularly effective relationship between load capacity and width – permitting a greater load capacity without the need for the vehicle to be widened.

In May Alliance will launch its very first 850/50 R30.5 size radial. The new tyre’s high load-bearing capacity makes it particularly suitable for use with high shipping volumes. The company’s “380” range for agricultural and earthmoving use is also being expanded. The 650/65 R30.5 size tyre has been specifically designed for use on tandem or tri-axle slurrey tankers, size 650/60 R26.5 for use with dumpers. In addition, a 620/40 R22.5 size is now available.
