Uniroyal’s Rallye4x4 Street Makes a Splash

Uniroyal has built up something of a reputation for delivering good wet weather performance, and its Rallye4x4Street is said to be no exception. The 4×4 segment tyre features Uniroyal’s trademark double V-tread, which the manufacturer says offers excellent performance in wet conditions by dispersing water away from the tyre’s contact patch. This is, says Uniroyal, the most effective protection against aquaplaning. By choosing Uniroyal, it adds, the driver has opted for wet weather safety and the retailer possesses a unique selling position and clear message for the customer.

As well as the tyre’s wet weather credentials, the Rallye4x4Street is designed to offer a smooth and quiet ride. When cornering, enormous forces act on the tyre, thus the Rallye4x4Street has wide shoulder blocks to provide a large are for the transmission of these forces. This enables the Uniroyal 4×4 tyre to deliver good handling characteristics and more precise steering performance. The tyre has good driving stability and short braking distances thanks to the silica compound that Conti says it developed specifically for SUV tyres. The Rallye4x4Street also has good traction thanks to its stable shoulder blocks and robust tyre design.

The Rallye4x4Street, says Conti, is available to suit all major fitments in the 15 to 18-inch rim diameter range.
