Stapleton’s Supplying 4×4 Tyres to Suit Every Pocket

As one of the largest distributors of passenger car tyres in the UK, Stapleton’s says it attempts to ensure it has a tyre suitable for every retailer and in every price bracket. In the 4×4 and SUV tyre segment the company accommodates retailer requirements by stocking all major brands.

Of late, 4x4s have found themselves on the wrong end of new tax policy, and this combined with the credit crunch and high fuel prices, has affected the already above average running costs associated with this type of vehicle. Some consumers now feel the need to more closely monitor their spending and make savings of their purchases. To make sure it can help tyre retailers faced with this situation, Stapleton’s says that its wide 4×4 rage includes both premium and more price oriented products.

“We aim to have one of the most comprehensive ranges of tyres in the market and also to deliver an outstanding service,” comments Steve Parker, Stapleton’s trading director. “In order to help retailers who may be feeling the effects of the current economic climate, with some customers looking to spend less per visit, we offer a range of 4×4 tyres including our exclusive quality brand Nexen, which has sizes for all high performance vehicles and SUVs.”

Late last year Stapleton’s announced an increase in its stockholding capacity following the move into a newly opened premises next to its head office in Letchworth. According to Stapleton’s, the new building can hold an additional 130,000 tyres, and customers are benefiting from increased service levels and improved stock availability. The company now holds a combined stock of around 700,000 4×4 and other types of tyres throughout its nine distribution centres in Letchworth, Wakefield, Coatbridge, Avonmouth, Burton, Warrington, Biggleswade and Guildford.

Stapleton’s says the company retains its commitment to customer service and delivery turnaround times, and therefore customers can rest assured they have a distributor they can rely upon to supply the tyres that they want at the prices they need.
