Sinton Tyres Stocking the Latest Cooper 4×4 Range

In spite of the economic downturn, Sinton Tyres reports that its customers are happy to continue investing in their SUVs and off road vehicles – and the Cooper All Terrain (Discoverer ATR) and mud pattern (Discoverer STT) thus remain as popular as ever, with the Discoverer ST remaining a firm favourite with those enthusiasts who want a 40 per cent on-road/60 per cent off road tyre.

The latest products to find a stall in the Cooper stable are the Zeon XSTA, which replaces the Sports HP in the Discoverer range, and the Zeon LTZ, which comes in American truck sizes but is also suitable for some UK conversions. Both are suitable for the aftermarket.

The Zeon XSTA is an SUV M&S tyre with an asymmetrical tread design offering all season traction and enhanced stability even at high speed. The circumferential and transverse grooves allow for effective water evacuation and ensure the tyre performs well on wet surfaces and the risk of hydroplaning is minimised. This good-looking tyre is, says Sinton, already much in demand from 4×4 owners who want top-level performance from their vehicles. The Zeon XSTA line-up is available in a wide range of sizes and in H or V speed ratings.

The Zeon LTZ is a gutsy CAD all-terrain M&S tyre with extended tread life and rim protection beyond the rim flange to minimise the likelihood of damage to this area . It has been designed to deliver a quieter ride, but Sinton comments that it is also made for vehicles that really want to go places. As with the XSTA, the design of the grooves makes for more efficient expulsion of water and provides it with greater resistance to aquaplaning. It also boasts increased lug stability and entrenched siping advantage for greater steering control and improved traction. The scalloped and offset shoulder lug design improves the tyre’s performance on sand and mud, but it is equally at home on rocky surfaces.

Both of the above tyres, adds Sinton, are durable, premium products featuring ventless technology in the moulds to provide a crisper, cleaner appearance.
