Rema Tip Top Gets New Official Name
On 1 January 2009, Rema Tip Top UK Limited (the company’s automotive and industry service/distribution based operations) officially began trading as a newly reorganised group of companies. The traditional Rema Tip Top Automotive division responsible for the sale of all automotive goods and services officially became ‘Rema Tip Top Automotive UK Limited’. While the Rema Tip Top Industry division responsible for the sale of all industrial goods and services became ‘Rema Tip Top Industry UK Limited.’
Rema Tip Top Automotive UK Limited continues to operate from its headquarters in Leeds, West Yorkshire, whilst Rema Tip Top Industry UK Limited has moved its headquarters to Harworth in Doncaster.
Mark Insley chief executive of the group stated: “The company reorganisation has been undertaken to provide the business with a clearly defined group structure that will provide a greater degree of focus for the two distinct markets within which the company operates. The reorganisation has been driven by the success and subsequent growth of the company over the past five years. The changes we have made will benefit our customers in many positive ways and ultimately it creates a sound business model which is capable of dealing with the opportunities and challenges we face in the future.”
Cliff Jones, Managing Director, Rema Tip Top Automotive UK Limited, added: “The Automotive Company will see changes to the Capital Equipment, Tyre Repair Material and Consumable product portfolios which will further enhance the product offering to our customers. We have recently made high level changes within the automotive management team with the appointment of two new sales managers for consumable products and a new sales manager for capital equipment. These changes will bring a new focus to our overall sales and service activities to the benefit of all our customers during 2009 and into the future.”
