Ukraine’s No. 2 Tyre Producer Dismisses its Director General
Dneproshina JSC, the second largest tyre manufacturer in the Ukraine, has dismissed its director general Jozef Rucek. This news was given in a December 1 company statement and disseminated by iTyre.com; it is reported that the decision was made on November 26 by company president Vitaliy V. Verbas, and Rucek’s contract was ended by mutual agreement on November 29.
According to information given by the company, Dneproshina appointed Vitaliy V. Verbas its president and Jozef Rucek director general on January, 29 2007. The company ended 2007 with net income of 10.493 million hryvnias (approximately US$2.11 million), or 2.18 per cent pure gain in comparison with 2006. Dneproshina, a manufacturer of mining, construction, agricultural, bus, truck and passenger car tyres as well as tyres for motorcycles and fork lifts, is registered as a joint stock company. Two Cyprus based companies (Serverio Trading and Aliatros Trading) and two companies from British Virgin Islands (Sapphire Worldwide Assets and Laindors Trading) own 17 per cent of company shares each.
