Axle Group Appoints New Executive Director

Axle Group Holdings Ltd has published the appointment of Peter Harries as group executive director. Harries’ principal role will be “to develop and implement purchasing strategy to maximise growth and strengthen supplier relationships for the group, which includes National Tyres and Autocare, National Fleet and Viking International.”

Peter Harries brings with him 30 years of experience in the industry, having formerly held positions which include managing director for Group Tyres and sales director for Cooper Avon Tyres. On joining the company, he commented: “There’s a great culture at Axle Group. I am very excited to be joining this winning team. The company’s success is built upon a sound financial base and a strong brand identity, but for me, it is the people that make the difference.”
