Marangoni Supplies Tyres for First Tuned Alfa Mito
Marrangoni Tyre is supply red rubber for the first tuned Alfa Mito, on display at the forthcoming Essen Motor Show (27 November to 7 December 2008). It’s called the M430, however the reason for the name has, for now, been kept secret. Following the success of the Fiat 500, Marangoni is aiming to demonstrate its interest in tuning very shortly after the release of the production vehicle (on 12 September).
Starting from a 1.4 litre turbo petrol model, the M430 will feature considerable changes to the bodywork, with a specially created aerodynamic kit and doors that open Lamborghini style, an engine reaching almost 220 HP, a redesigned interior made even more precious by Swarovski stones, and an upgraded braking system and trim.
The tuning project was as usual handled by the Florence-based TRC Italia and, for this truly sporting interpretation, Marangoni decided to develop special fire-red 18-inch tyres, absolutely in line with the new look of the vehicle. Over the remaining months of 2008 and in 2009 the M430 will be on display at the leading European tuning shows, with a schedule of more than 10 different events.
