Viking Gives Away More Holidays to Dealers
Viking International has named more winners of its recent promotion of Viking and Barum tyres, which saw £500 of Thomas Cook holiday vouchers on offer as a reward for tyre sales. Whitehouse Tyre Sales, based in Bristol was the lucky winner for Viking Tyres. Business partners John Chapel and Dave Buck received the vouchers from Area Sales Manager, David LeTall, who has been selling them tyres for nearly forty years.
John Chapel commented: “We offer a range of services and are a dying breed of businesses that’ll fit anything from a one-off tyre to an earthmover – no job too big or small! The vouchers make a great prize and will go to the staff as thanks for their hard work.”
Whitehouse Tyre Sales first began trading in 1970 and is now the second oldest independent tyre business in Bristol. They offer a 24 hour a day, 365 days a year commercial breakdown service and also look after a number of well-known fleet clients.
Powell’s Garage of Redruth, Cornwall, came out on top in their category for Barum Tyres. The company has been trading with Viking International for the last four years and deals in Barum tyres and Varta batteries from VI. Tyre and Wheel Department Manager, Gary Buckby, was the recipient of the £500 holiday vouchers: “I am delighted to receive the prize and plan to take a trip to Barcelona this autumn.”
