ContiTech Application Guide for Asian Vehicles

The ContiTech Power Transmission Group has issued a new catalogue specifically for Asian vehicles. The range covers over 96 per cent of the Asian vehicle parc in Europe. The compilation helps workshops and dealers quickly locate the right belts as well as the range of deflection and tensioning pulleys and kits for Asian passenger cars.

Asian manufacturers are turning out a growing share of the brands available on the global vehicle market. The Asian vehicle segment is thus increasingly important for the automotive aftermarket. “About 15 per cent of the vehicles on Europe’s roads are Asian, and Asian manufacturers already control over 30 per cent of worldwide auto production – with those percentages increasing all the time. Consequently, the importance of spare parts specifically for these vehicles is also growing,” says Markus Pirsch, head of the ContiTech Power Transmission Group’s Marketing Service.

“As full-range supplier, ContiTech carries a comprehensive range of spare parts for Asian vehicles. The separate catalogue provides our customers a quick and uncomplicated overview of these parts,” explains Pirsch. Alongside the range of belt drive components, the 2008/2009 catalogue also contains an application guide indicating the right drive components for every vehicle.
