Autoglym Valet Workstation

A new user-friendly Autoglym Valet Workstation aims to improve the working environment and operational efficiency of professional valeters.

The workstation – developed for franchised and independent workshops, bodyshops and dedicated valet bays – neatly stores and presents nine Autoglym’s trade valeting products, the accompanying drying and polishing cloths and the firm’s specialist cleaning brushes.

Mark Hawthorn, Autoglym National Sales Manager, explains: “The majority of valet bays have products and cloths scattered about in a haphazard manner that can often be an accident waiting to happen; it certainly doesn’t keep cloths and brushes as clean as they should be. Our new workstation encourages operatives to keep a tidier, more organised, cleaner valet bay that will mean a safer working environment with less potential for accidents to operatives and inadvertent spills of the product onto the vehicle or the valeter.

“The workstation has a specific space for each bottle, helping valeters to avoid using the wrong product which is not only a waste but also potential costly to remedy. And as the bottles that are supplied with the system all have spray dispensers, there are cost savings to be made by ensuring only the right amount of each product is used.”

The Valet Workstation, complete with a set of compatible spray bottles, costs £30 + VAT. Autoglym provides a range of training packages to ensure valeters – from dealerships, workshops and valet firms – are best placed to deliver a premium quality service to their customers.
