Titan Tire States New Giant Tyres Performing Well

Reports from Titan Tire Corporation indicate its new 63-inch giant OTR mining tyre and wheel assemblies are continuing to perform well for customers. The first shipment of the company’s latest product is now in service in mining applications in Canada’s oil sands. “Titan’s 63-inch giant tyres continue to run with success,” said Titan chairman and CEO Maurice M. Taylor Jr. “These tyres have surpassed each standard we’ve set for them, and we expect only the best from our products. Our OTR tyres, with our new patent pending design and manufacturing technology, run cooler and stronger,” said Taylor. “We continue to increase production everyday on these big daddy 63-inch tyres and plan to roll out 57-inch OTR tyres this year. As the video taken in the oils sands shows, even with a load over 400 tons, the tyres run great.

“The rumours of failed tyres and performance that have been circulating are false,” Taylor adds. “As viewers can see, these big daddy tyres are great. Our agricultural business also continues to grow. It may be to our competitors’ dismay, but Titan is looking forward to a great 2008 with even more success to follow in 2009.”
